Portrait of Patricia Prewitt

Bringing over 30 years of pharmaceutical sales and marketing experience, Patricia is passionate about helping individuals find ways to save money on their prescription medications. She understands the frustration of ever-changing drug plans, formulary tiers, prior authorizations, and rising out-of-pocket costs for the average consumer.

Patricia’s years of industry experience make her uniquely qualified to match individual needs to specific resources that may be available to reduce costs. Health care professionals are often unaware of cost-saving programs and are simply too busy to be able to provide guidance to patients during short office visits. Hence the need for the DIY Guide: 7 Simple Steps to Saving Money on Prescriptions, or her private one-to-one consultative service.

When not working with customers, Tricia can be found hiking, running, enjoying activities with friends and family, and trying new healthy recipes. She happily volunteers with the MA/RI Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and supports small business owners everywhere.

MyPersonalRxAdvisor is an independent small business formed with the purpose of connecting individuals to cost-saving programs for prescription medications, while simultaneously respecting their need for privacy.

We believe

Every individual is unique, and there simply is no “one size fits all” for prescription medications. In fact, even in the same household, people are often covered under different Prescription Drugs Plans. Our goal is to maintain the integrity of the original required prescriptions and match them to a potential cost-saving program-if one exists.

Prescriptions in an Electronic World

I have the utmost respect for all health care providers and their support staff. Health professionals are operating in ever-challenging circumstances with demands placed on their time and resources in ways they may never have imagined. An explosion of mandatory health data collection processes, and the Covid 19 pandemic has impacted health care even more. Providers simply may not know about cost-saving programs, nor can they be expected to know the cost impact details of every medication for each patient with so many different prescription plans.

The Do It Yourself (DIY) Guide: 7 Simple Steps to Saving Money on Prescriptions is designed to put the power of a guided internet search for savings in your hands. It gives helpful instructions for researching and finding the best medications savings programs – allowing you to maintain control and privacy.

If you prefer, I offer one-on-one, personalized consulting that can be booked and scheduled on this website. Consulting sessions are conducted privately over a Zoom or phone call. We will discuss your medications and options, and then I’ll do the research for you,  delivering a Personalized Action Plan designed for your specific needs.

What Clients are Saying

I’ve been a licensed Social Worker working in a hospital setting for ten years, and I learned about a few programs that will definitely help some of my clients.

Finally - someone who explains in plain English what savings cards are and how to use them.

I love the fact that I can use the (7 Steps) guide to research savings programs in a thoughtful way on my own time and on my own computer. Great resource.
